Attacting More Targeted Traffic To Your Blog or Site

Sunday, May 30th, 2010

As an internet marketer you already know that the key to making sales is to get as much traffic to your website as possible. You could just create a website and hope for the best, but this seldom brings you the kind of traffic that you want. If you can commit yourself to working on it for about two hours every day, you can use several proven methods to start getting more targeted visitors to your site.

Make the decision now that you will do what is necessary to get more website traffic. After all, the more effort you put into your traffic creation the more likely you will be to make sales. Isn’t that what attracted you to internet marketing in the first place, the opportunity to make lots of sales? Here are some methods that you can use to get people to visit your website. If you are looking a special training for drive traffic to your website I will recomend you a excelent course that is soon will released, I’m talking of Turbo Traffic System, and you can find out more info in my site.

Link directories can help increase your traffic if you submit your site to them. You should not just submit your site to random directories, but only to ones that are privately owned and consistently moderated. You can find many ways to do this for free. Getting links from many directories can help to raise your website’s page rank. It also helps that people know these sites have to be approved, so this gives your website a higher value in the minds of people who see it listed there. This can give you some immediate traffic when visitors to these directories click through to look at your site.

Ask people to contribute articles and other content to your site. Everyone wants links back to their sites, so if you offer them a link in exchange for an article in your niche, they’ll most likely be happy to comply. This is good for two reasons. Outbound links also contribute to your page rank. It will also get you an inbound link. If you publish someone’s article on your site, they will want to tell their own readers about this; when they do this, they’ll have to include a link to the article, which is, of course on your website, providing you with a link. So this technique gives you links that are both inbound and outbound, and you can also get traffic directly from the site of the person who contributed the article! Another important thing is that I’m offering a full pass to my Training Center, you can see more details in the bonus packet of Turbo Traffic System page.

A good place to put a link to your website is in profiles of social media networks, so join a few of these. Do not underestimate the power of a Facebook or MySpace profile! If you use these sites in the right way, by joining groups and networking rather than spamming, you can build up huge amounts of traffic which can lead to lots of sales! If you want some help creating your profile, find some other people who are marketing in the same or similar niche as yourself and take a look at their profiles. You could build up quite a few repeat buyers!

There are quite a few ways to drive traffic to your site. Most of the time, depending on the method, it’s a process you must devote time into constantly. Traffic building plus backlink building are two things that should be worked on everyday. With so much variety, hopefully it won’t need to be a boring task. Also, a lot of marketers are driven by thinking of how they may profit from all the various tasks they have to do.

Profitable Website Design Guidelines for Online Marketers

Monday, May 24th, 2010

For most online business models it’s a must to have a website in order to do business and profit. But if you do, how would you be able to make those product/service sales? And of course you’ll need some mechanism to collect customer data such as email addresses and other info. There’s much more involved than only having a website before you can begin earning money with it. You need to have a website that can convert visitors to customers to make money on the internet. Before starting an online business, most people usually at least have some kind of idea, or vision, of what they want in a site. How do you know if your idea will be a profitable site? We’d like to share some ideas that will help you in this area of site design.

No matter your niche you need to have a great converting website.  Once you get the traffic you can convert any niche including laser skin resurfacing, with the right website. Always make sure your code has been done correctly. Many internet marketers use free website templates, but to give your site a unique appearance you’ll have to make some changes to the code. This is a fairly simple task, and there is no need to know that much about coding to change your site around.

When typing or copying code, however, it’s easy to make errors that will have a serious impact on how your site looks. If your code has been incorrectly done, your whole website could have mistakes or it might fail to load at all. Some mistakes aren’t immediately obvious; if you want to check for errors you may have missed, use the CSS Validator. One thing you should do is load your site by using several different web browsers. For some websites, using a different browser will change some elements in how the site looks. What shows up as bright pink in Mozilla Firefox could show up as darker pink or even brown in Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.

You may not feel like taking the trouble to check your site on a bunch of different browsers, but this is something that is worth doing. If your site does not look right on one of the major browsers, think how many people might be turned off by it. This means testing all of the links, the colors, the site and the buying buttons. This may seem tedious, but it’s something every website owner should do!

Be darn sure your site does not load slowly. If your website takes a long time to load you will lose a lot of site visitors before they even get to your main offer. If you make them wait too long, you know what will happen because you’ve probably done it. Avoid large image files, make sure your site is properly coded, and even lose some images if need be. You can apply a wide variety of techniques to improve your online business and make more money. You can’t really expect to get off the ground, however, unless you have a website that looks good and draws visitors. You don’t really need and advanced skills to build a great looking and successful website.

At first you may have to put some time into it, but it’s well worth it if you want to get lots of visitors who want to stay for a while. A good website is a necessity for a successful online business; when you start making money, you’ll be glad you put some effort into your site.

Build a Blog Empire – Keep the Winners, Flip the Losers!

Saturday, February 13th, 2010

Have you been told that there is lots of money to be made with blogs? Well, you are correct, there is a lot of money to be made if you do it right. Creating blogs is really easy now. Most hosting providers have an automatic install process to get your blog created in minutes. It is this simplicity that allows you to make lots of money in a short period of time. You can create your blog, promote it, monetize it, and sell it. You can also keep the best performing blogs as a basis for your recurring income streams. Let’s get to the details.

As I said before, setting up a blog is simple stuff. You can do it in minutes. Once your blog is setup, you will need to make it look nice. The default theme is really not setup to stand out, trust me. Go and search for free wordpress themes, and you will find a huge pool to choose from. Once you pick one or many themes, you upload them to your account and pick the one you want to use. OK, now that your blog looks appealing to your visitors, you need some content. Many people get stuck on content. You don’t need to think too hard about this. Simply visit the major article directories and find the most popular articles in your niche. You simply publish these great articles on your blog! Be sure to observe the rules here. Each article site has different rules.

You can use WordPress’ scheduling feature to schedule the posting of the articles. I would post the first three right away and then post one every day or so for the next two months. This will keep your content fresh and the search engines happy.

Now that the blog is setup with a nice theme and content, just go out there and promote it. You can promote via PPC, article marketing, forum marketing, classifieds, etc. Once you have some links and traffic, you must evaluate your blog’s progress. The killer ones are keepers. Go ahead and sell the rest to buy some more content and/or outsource the building of more blogs!

Naming Your Blog is a Very Important First Step in the Blog Creation Process

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

Blogs are currently all the rage in the internet marketing world. They have seen a rise in popularity so sudden and forceful that even brand names companies are getting in on the action. Movie stars, writers, television producers, and a myriad of highly respected individuals are using blogs as part of their every day lives. Starting a blog may seem like a daunting task for someone who doesn’t know much about them, but they’re really not that hard to setup. Wordpress blogs in particular are very user-friendly, and the Wordpress CMS (content management system) makes the process even more simple. The very first thing you want to do before you setup your Wordpress blog is come up with a name for it.

Naming your blog is a very important first step in the blog creation process. If your blog is going to be about a particular niche or subject, then your name should be based on that. For example, if I wanted to start a blog that promoted fishing hooks, I would come up with a catchy title such as ‘Fishing Hooks: Necessary or Unnecessary?’, and then design my content around that phrase. You’ll also need to choose a website address. If you’re signing up for a free blog on Word press, then the title will be something like ‘fishing hooks word press’. If you’re using the Wordpress software for your own website, then you’ll have to check for the available domains and use something that you think is fitting to your niche.

After you’ve come up with a name, you’ll need to pick a template (called a ‘theme’ in the Wordpress blogs universe) for your blog. Wordpress has many free and professional-looking templates for you to choose from from it’s main website. If you’re looking for something more original though, for more details visit to www.your-own-blog.com or a template that no one’s used before, looking for a designer who develops templates or a website that sells pre-made templates to budding bloggers would be your best bet. Once you have the code for your template implemented and setup, you’ll then need to configure the necessary widgets that you want displayed on your blog.

Widgets are a big feature of the Wordpress CMS that allow you to do stuff like add different pages (e.g. Home, About, Contact, etc.), or content to your blog. Some of the content widgets include del.icio.us, Flickr, and Meebo, among other things. You can also add a calendar, links, a search feature, or an RSS feed button to your blog. Utilizing these widgets on your Wordpress blogs will give them a slight step up from other barren, mundane blogs out there. People like to be able to mess around with the content and features of the blogs they visit, and yours will not be an exception to that rule. If you want to know how to start a blog, for more details visit to www.blog-and-ping.com keeping your potential visitors in mind at all times is something that you should start doing immediately.

These are pretty much the main things that you have to do to start posting on your wordpress blogs, and start making money (if that’s your goal). Most people think that creating the content for their blog is the first step, but as I’ve shown in this article, there’s a lot of pre-foundational work that has to be done before you can get your blog out into the world. From naming your blog, to choosing how it will look, to choosing what kind of interactive features you want on it, it all goes towards teaching you how to start a blog. If you want to start learning more about Wordpress blogs, then you’ve already taken a step in the right direction by reading this article.

Socialize Your Wordpress, Blogware Or Blogger Blog With A Single Click Of Your Mouse

Wednesday, January 13th, 2010

Blogs(A.K.A. – Weblogs) are the BIGGEST thing going right now online because of there many uses for both the Web Surfer and the Internet Marketer.

But, you probably already know that so for the purpose of this article I’m not going to talk about ‘Blogs’ in general because I’m sure you’ve read enough about them by now and/or you already have a few kicking around the net.

What I’m going to share with you Right Now is something I discovered while surfing the net researching Tag and Ping tactics and Social Bookmarkleting because I run more then a few blogs online and wanted to find out how I could take advantage of this whole Tag and Ping and Social Bookmarkleting thing with as little effort as possible.

If your new to this whole Tag and Ping game then let me give you a quick summary of what a Tag is and what a Ping is so there’s no confusion as you continue through this article.

Tags – Tags are simply category names and are selected by you using keywords around whatever niche your blogging about and are included within each post you make, that is, if your blog is set up for Tags.

Ping – By Pinging your letting the weblog trackers(like Technorati for example) and the search engines now that your blog has been updated with fresh content and is ready for their spiders to come and crawl your blog for indexing into their databases.

This is where the – Tags – come into play for your blogs posts because as soon as the social bookmarkleting service spiders your blog, it will list your post under that given Tag you chose. So it’s very important you choose your Tags wisely.

Now that you know the basics of the Tag and Ping concept, lets now get into what I discovered so you too can incorporate it into your blogging mix, whether you use Wordpress, Blogware or Blogger as your blogging software.

But before I do, lets first talk about what Social Bookmarkleting is for a quick minute.

Social Bookmarkleting, just in case your not quite sure, is simply a collection of your favorite articles, blogs, music, restaurant reviews, photo’s or whatever it is that you find interesting on the web and is saved into your public profile through whatever Social Bookmarkleting service you choose.

Technorati, Digg, del.icio.us, furl are just a few Social Bookmarkleting services available on the web which is why I’m writing this article because I discovered a COOL plugin that you can use on Wordpress, Blogware and Blogger blogs that will connect you to over 50+ social bookmarkleting services through one click of your mouse giving your blog audience multiple options to share your blog post or blog with the world which in turn will increase your traffic and popularity of your blog.

Lets face it, adding 50+ social bookmarkleting buttons to your blog would be a VERY tedious endevour so why not take the short cut for a change and install this plugin and let your reader make his or her choice.

To take advantage of this plugin right now go to Socialize-It.com ==> http://www.socialize-it.com

This plugin is absolutely FREE and only takes minutes to install on your blog.

Make sure your choose your Tag wisely as well. I recommend you go to Technorati – http://www.technorati.com – and look at the TOP 100 tags since Technorati is the BIG Daddy in the blogosphere.

(TIP: The bigger and bolder the Tag the more popular the topic is.)

After you’ve done that, start Blogging.

The more posts you make, the more pages you’ll generate with the “Socialize-It” button helping spread the word about your blog and getting your blog added in whatever Social Bookmarkleting service database your blog reader is apart of.

I hope you found this article helpful and take action on what you have just learned.

Good luck!

Article Marketing With Wordpress Blogs

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

Wikipedia defines WordPress as a web publishing system (a.k.a. content management system) written in PHP and backed by a MySQL database. WordPress is used to manage frequently-updated Web content, especially Weblogs. It is distributed under the GNU General Public License and is available free of charge.

If you are freaked out by the technical jargon don’t be. If you have your own web hosting account with mysql access you can easily install the software on your server or have a php programmer install it.

The software is free and can be accessed at http://wordpress.org The benefits of have the software hosted on your server include link popularity. Because you will be promoting a blog with a link back to your original domain you will get backlinks. The downside is managing the software on your hosting account which can cause added stress and take some time to maintain.

If you are not at all technical you can sign up with several free wordpress hosting services like http://freedesktopads.com that will host the software on their server. All you need to do is log in with a username and password to use the service. You will not receive backlinks to your direct domain but you will create backlinks to the blog you are working on. One other issue is the host can pull the plug on your blog at any time so be sure to have some back up of the material at least if you are forced to move.

Blogs can target specific keywords for Search Engine Optimization just as traditional web pages can. The benefit of article marketing versus a web page is content pure and simple. The blog is an ongoing listing of your articles one right after the other. If your blog is full of articles on one particular niche you are likely to use the same keywords throughout various articles. Your blog will be full of good information with keywords scattered through it appropriately instead of concentrated for SEO benefit.

Your blog can all be distributed through RSS feeds. Think of an RSS feed like an email list. If you have a number of people who find your blog worth while they will add it to their feed service. When your blog gets updated your RSS feed will send it out to your subscribers. How cool would it be to have your blog feed to thousands of RSS feeders and all you need to do is add content.

Word press makes it really easy to tag your blog. Tagging a blog means that your keywords are tagged and picked up by popular pinging services like technoratti. A tagged blog is more readily available for users searching for your particular content. Tagging a wordpress blog is extremely simple. Create categories based on your keywords. When you publish your articles on your blogs select the specific categories that related to your articles. As you create more keyword rich content create more categories. You will see a solid spike in traffic based on tagging alone.

Get instant traffic to your blog with a pinging service. Pinging is the act of letting other content sites know you have new information on your blog. Ping at http://pingoat.com for sure. Every time you update your blog use the ping service. Pingoat pings top notch services like technorati. You can also submit your blog to hundreds of blog directories like http://www.blogcatalog.com

Blogs are beneficial because they are easy to update, they can keyword rich and are easily announced to the world. The content should be kept fresh and up to date to keep people coming back for more. Use your blog to direct traffic to other sites, monetize it with Google Adsense or Clickbank products.

Is there anyway to allow others to place videos on my Wordpress blog, similar to You Tube?

Monday, October 12th, 2009

I want to make my Wordpress blog have the function that allows others to put videos on the page whenever they want, even if they do not have my log in information. Is there anyway to do this? It would be similar to the way that people put videos on Youtube and make their own account.

I’m afraid that there’s no direct way you can do this on a Wordpress blog. The best alternative is to have a YouTube niche script like this: http://www.advancescripts.com/detailed/15245.html running on a separate directory and linking it from wordpress.

How do i install Wordpress on Godaddy Linux Hosting?

Sunday, October 11th, 2009

I want to install wordpress on Godaddy account. does anyone knows how to?.i am a dummy. i can only do simple html and upload simple website with FTP.

I already have wordpress downloaded and unzipped on my local machine.

If u are a ‘technical dummy’ i suggest u don’t try to install Wordpress using the zip file u downloaded from wordpress.org.

It can get rather complex…

my best advice to u now is to ask Godaddy support if they have fantastico enabled.

Fantastico is a script that can automate the entire Wordpress installation process; all it takes is just 3 simple mouse clicks and you’re done

Easily Master Wordpress with Wordpress Videos. Build your profit pulling niche blogs with wordpress.
